Leadtek WinFast PX7950 GT TDH
We?re back to single slot, single GPU cards with this Leadtek 7950 GT model. Compared to the GX2, the board looks almost tiny, but don?t let appearance fool you, this card is a performer. Also based on the GeForce 7900 Series (G71) GPU, the card features the same number of ROPs, pixel and vertex shaders as the chips on the GX2. The clocks are somewhat different, however, with the GPU on this card running at 550 MHz. The board comes with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked ad 1400 MHz over a 256-bit wide bus. There is also a 512 MB version available in Leadtek?s line-up, if you feel you require more space for textures.
The single-slot heatsink/fan combo on the card does its job well and we didn?t notice any noise during the testing procedure. Naturally, the card supports SLI and PureVideo. Two Dual Link DVI connectors are present, so you can hook up two really big monitors if you want. Two DVI to VGA adapters are provided, along with a HDTV cable, an installation manual, user manual, and a driver & softvare CD. Two games are bundled with the card: Serious Sam 2 and Spellforce 2. In addition, you get a copy of CyberLink PowerDVD 6 and the WinFox 2 utility.
