Testing
We installed Windows XP SP2 and our standard set of tests. We didn?t run into any problems or instabilities which was a pleasant surprise considering the fact this is a R&D sample. We had production samples that had more stability issues than this board. Our standard battery of tests gave out some pretty nice results. We compared this board to Sapphire?s sample of RD580 board, and DFI RD480 board. We used AMD Athlon x2 4400+, OCZ Platinum rev. 2, two X1900XT in CrossFire configuration and a Western Digital Raptor WD360.
