One large thing about Thecus's stuff has always been software. Prior to receiving the N2100, I also received a Firmware update for this device that fixes some problems it had before, which are very honestly stated in the Release Note PDF, plus some very cool new features (improved wireless support, IPP, NTP, Jumbo Frame, USB hard drive support with NTFS). When you receive this unit and install hard drives inside, you have to do a simple software installation on one of your computers (and have a Microsoft .NET framework installed). You can then select your admin password and go on to the web interface N2100 has for configuring everything there is to configure. Check the pictures below so you can see what it's all about.
